The purpose of the Resource Wizard is to
assist business owners in locating resources in their
geographic area that can help their business grow and
thrive. When beginning the Wizard, a viewer will first
be asked to select the geographic region, county, or
city where their business is or will be located. They
may then choose from several menus listing the various
types of resources available in that area, both funding
and non-funding. Based on the choices made, a customized checklist of programs that
most closely match
your needs will appear. The checklist contains
contact information and hot links for the various
resources.
To prevent server overload, please limit
the number of choices you make. It will be faster to
make more than one search rather than have the server
time out.
Among the resources found in the Resource Wizard are:
Agricultural loans and resources
Angel and venture capital resources
Bank loan programs
Business incubators
Chambers of commerce
Economic development organizations
Government procurement opportunities (selling to state and federal government
agencies)
Import/Export/International Trade assistance
SBA loan programs
Special programs for women, minorities, veterans, and disadvantaged businesses
